For the 11th edition of Chambres à part, art advisor and curator Laurence Dreyfus moves her annual exhibition to a new address of La Réserve group at 42 avenue Gabriel, next to the Grand Palais and the FIAC.

Laurence Dreyfus proposes a new program of the event showing a sharp selection of iconic works, little treasures, during four days in one of the prestigious imperial suites, in the patio and in the Duke of Morny’s library.

For the first time, she organizes also two exclusive private events on invitation only in the Duke of Morny’s library located in this 18th century hôtel particulier, fully and respectfully restored by Jacques Garcia.

Highlights of the 11th edition:
An exhibition of iconic works of renowned artists such as Antony Gormley, Olafur Eliasson, Robert Longo, Anish Kapoor, Tomas Saraceno, Hiroshi Sugimoto among others, loaned by faithful Chambres à part collectors and presented in one of the presidential suites of La Réserve
An iconic sculpture installed in the patio
A selection of small works “little treasures” presented in the Duke of Morny’s library
Two thematic evenings on the 21st and 22nd of October: a poetic performance “Infralangage III” by Carmen Campo Real and a private concert by great Russian pianist Mikhail Rudy
This year, Small is Beautiful is the theme of the exhibition that will take place in one of the imperial suites of the Hôtel & Spa La Réserve Avenue Gabriel. Several outstanding artists will be presented:
Olafur Eliasson (currently exhibited at Versailles), Monique Frydman, Antony Gormley, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Anish Kapoor, Robert Longo, Tomàs Saraceno, etc. Located just a step from the FIAC, she will receive exclusively and VIP her clients during four days and two nights in one of the prestigious suites from Wednesday October 19th to Saturday October 22th 2016.

Thus, some paintings, objects, sculptures and works on paper will be presented respecting the 18th century hôtel particulier.

In the library, French and international VIP guests who are visiting FIAC are invited to attend the following events: a classical music concert by great pianist Mikhali Rudy and a poetic performance by Carmen Campo Real in dialogue with artworks.

Thanks to her excellent long-term relationships forged with collectors and artists, working closely with several international renowned galleries, this particular year, Laurence Dreyfus manages to gather the iconic works lent by private collections and presented exclusively on the French art market.
