Bloomberg Connects is a cultural app created in 2019 by Bloomberg Philanthropies to support access to free cultural programming for everyone by offering digital guides to a wide range of cultural institutions, from museums and galleries to historic sites and botanical gardens, in more than 75 cities around the world. The app is launched in France and Paris during the Olympic Games 2024.

Bloomberg Philanthropies invests in 700 cities and 150 countries around the world to ensure better, longer lives for as many as possible. The organization focuses on creating lasting change in five key areas: the arts, education, the environment, government innovation and public health. Bloomberg Philanthropies strengthens its support for innovative cultural initiatives worldwide with the Bloomberg Connects app, created in 2019 to support access to free cultural programming. The Bloomberg Connects app offers digital guides to a wide range of cultural institutions, from museums and galleries to historic sites and botanical gardens, in more than 75 cities worldwide.

The app is launched in France and Paris on the occasion of the Olympic Games 2024. It now brings together the collections of nearly 40 of the city’s institutions, public art programs and historic sites available via digital guides, making these collections accessible not only to visitors in person, but also to visitors worldwide, from their phones.

To ensure the success of this launch, Bloomberg Philanthropies has appointed l’art en plus to orchestrate a major visibility and brand awareness campaign in France, and in Paris in particular.

l’art en plus is working closely with Bloomberg Philanthropies to build a positive and engaging communication campaign thanks to a high-impact media plan that raises awareness of Bloomberg Connects among the French and international public and the Parisian artistic and cultural community. A large-scale OOH campaign is implemented in the Paris metro and at the Gare du Nord during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to encourage distribution of the application and develop its use. The campaign continues during Art Week at Art Basel Paris, to establish Bloomberg Connects as a key partner for French arts and cultural institutions.
