The Fondation Carmignac, created in 2000 at the initiative of Edouard Carmignac, is a corporate foundation that focuses on two main axes: a contemporary art collection that currently includes over 300 works and the Prix du photojournalisme annually supporting an investigative report that is the subject of an exhibition and catalog.

Since 2018, in partnership with the Fondation Carmignac, an exhibition space accessible to the public, the Villa Carmignac, has been created on the island of Porquerolles to offer temporary exhibitions, a garden inhabited by works specially created for the space as well as cultural and artistic programming.
