MAIF

France

Created in 2008 as part of the patronage policy of the MAIF mutual insurer, the Prix MAIF pour la sculpture supports artists in producing a bold work. Initially dedicated to creating a first sculpture in bronze, the Prize was entirely rethought in 2019 towards a more contemporary positioning, geared to innovative technologies - artificial intelligence, modelling, 3D printing, robotics.

Innovation

From 2014 to 2024, l’art en plus produced and coordinated the Prix MAIF pour la sculpture in its entirety: conception, organisation, production and communication. The agency steered each edition from the call for entries to the prize-giving, taking in the juries, the support of the artists and the production of the works.

Over ten years, across the Prize’s two versions, the agency supported 10 laureates and 37 finalists, reviewed more than 1,200 applications, ran 10 juries and organised 10 prize-giving evenings in prestigious venues – Palais de Tokyo, Palais de la Découverte – for the production of 10 original works.

Our work:
– Overall management: call for entries, administration of applications, juries
– Relations with the artists and partners, support for the production of the works
– Production of the prize-giving evenings: exhibition, performances, workshops for young audiences
– Media plans
– Public relations and development of networks and partnerships
– Social media, e-influence and content creation
– Publication of the catalogues
