The Fondation Louis Roederer, directed by Frédéric Rouzaud, was created in 2011 to carry out Maison Louis Roederer’s patronage policy. The initiative was prompted by Maison Louis Roederer when discovering the Bibliothèque nationale de France’s collection of photographs in 2003. As a “Grand Mécène de la Culture” in France, the Foundation supports ambitious cultural initiatives launched by leading institutions in France and abroad. It is a strong and constant supporter of the Bibliothèque nationale, the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais and the Jeu de Paume in Paris. Since then, it has supported the residents of the Académie de France à Rome – Villa Médicis, and has become committed to the Villa Albertine in the United States with the arrival of the Foundation’s new artistic director, Audrey Bazin. Through the Bourse de la recherche photographique at the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Prix de la Révélation at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes and the Festival du Cinéma Américain in Deauville, and the Prix Découverte at the Rencontres d’Arles, the Louis Roederer Foundation plays an active role in the emergence and careers of talented artists.
l’art en plus has been working with the Louis Roederer Foundation since 2015 to develop its reputation and the visibility of its patronage in France and internationally, to bring to life and promote its various news items throughout the year, and to foster lasting encounters and collaborations with the media and with influencers in the cultural world. The agency also carries out public relations activities for the Foundation (private visits, invitations, gala dinners, etc.). Following the celebration of the Foundation’s 10th anniversary and the arrival of a new artistic director in 2022, the agency is mobilized for the international development of the Foundation’s patronage in its various fields of intervention.
